May I suggest taking the audioguide at Agrigento’s Valle dei Templi? It is outstanding…and, there’s a less exciting one at the nearby museum, too.
Otherwise, avoid all audioguides in Italy as a general rule (except excellent Borghese & Doria Pamphilj galleries in rome, and the peggy guggenheim collection in Venice).
