China has built its own “Venice” in Macau

Posted on June 29th, 2009 by admin in Featured Articles

This “reproduction” is placed in Macau, the southeastern of China. Really, it’s owned by the Las Vegas Sands corp and the Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort – the The Venetian in Las Vegas. You can find all kind of things over there like canals, frescoes, fountains, golden statues…etc. but also the Saint Mark Square and the Bridge of Sighs. It is not worth Venice, but it must be nice to visit.
