Lanzarote, like the rest of the island of the Canary archipelago is of volcanic origin. But here it is, perhaps, much better – because on this small island located just 300 volcanoes. In 1730 the island simultaneously erupted just 30 volcanoes eruption itself lasted six years. As a result of this tremendous eruption nearly a third of the entire island was covered with lava and covered with ashes. Therefore, plant and animal life on the island is still relatively scarce. But this is compensated for its amazing beauty and unusual scenery of the island. Relax this summer with great weather and stunning scenery when you choose Lanzarote holidays.
